Winter has quickly approached. It’s that time of year that, to me, can be dreadful. Most days, I don’t want to leave the house once I am home! It can be easy to come home, sit on the couch, and do nothing else for the rest of the evening.
I often struggle with spending time with my husband during winter because I never know what to do! I have been thinking of some fun date night ideas or just fun things you can do with your spouse or significant other during these cold winter months.

We don’t get a lot of snow where I live, but I think the snow can be so much fun! Bundle up and have a blast with your significant other.

I am ready for a winter date night. There are so many ideas, Iβm going to start planning.
We love playing games. We started doing paint nights at home (we include the kids, so perhaps not QUITE a date, haha!). It is SO much fun finding a fun picture on YouTube and painting!
This sounds like a great idea! I do love that you get the kids involved too. Family date nights are fun as well π
These are all wonderful ideas! I feel inspired.
In our current world, these would also be great ideas for date nights where you can be socially distanced and still enjoy your time together.
Yes, they are! π
Fantastic ideas! I wrote down few in my journal for my future date nights π thanks for this list of ideas!
You’re welcome!
I love that you suggested a fondue date. It has to be one of the most romantic dinner choices. I remember early in the days of the pandemic, my husband lost his job while I continued to work. With him not working, we were living on a tight budget. One day, while I was at work, he spent the entire day searching thrift shops to find a fondue set. I came home from work to the most wonderful, romantic surprise. He had prepared a fondue feast for us, including a cheese appetizer course, main meat and veggie course, and a fantastic chocolate dessert course. Talk about feeling like a princess!
This is the sweetest story! I love this. From now on, fondue dates will be something you cherish!
I’m not a fan of winter, but I could certainly get onboard with some of these ideas!
Thanks for sharing these…..im really enlightened by your post.
You’re welcome! Thank you for reading π
Great ideas! Always good to keep changing things out! π
I agree!
