This is another recipe that is dear to my heart! My mom has been making this canned chicken casserole recipe for as long as I can remember. Growing up, we called this recipe “Netty Sues” because that is who passed this recipe down in our family.
I remember in high school, coming home from softball practice and being so excited when my mom fixed this. I could eat at ton of it because it was my favorite. This recipe is super easy, quick, and yummy! I hope you love this recipe as much as I do!
Chicken Casserole Recipe
Ingredients
- 1 16 oz canned chicken
- 1 12 oz canned chicken
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 8 oz sour cream
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1/2 cup butter (melted)
- 1 roll of Ritz crackers
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350
- Spread the canned chicken at the bottom of the casserole dish.
- In a separate bowl, mix the sour cream, cream of chicken, and water. Spread the mixture over the chicken.
- In a separate bowl, crush the Ritz crackers, pour the butter over the crackers, and mix.
- Pour the butter and cracker mix on the top of the soup mixture.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
