Chocolate is definitely my guilty pleasure. It’s my go-to when I’m sad or having a bad day, and it cheers me up. That’s why I absolutely love this recipe! It’s one of the best chocolate pie recipes I’ve ever made!
It is very easy to make and tastes so yummy! I received a recipe similar to this from a relative and put my own twist on it to make it the perfect pie for any time of the year. I hope you love it as much as I do!

Tools you will need:
- Measuring Cups & Spoons (collapsible ones like these will save so much room!)
- Whisk
- Cooling Rack
Year ‘Round Chocolate Pie
Ingredients
- 1 (9 inch) Pie Crust, Baked and Cooled
- 1 1/2 Cups Sugar
- 1/4 Cup Corn Starch
- 3/4 Teaspoon Salt
- 3 Cups Milk
- 4 Eggs
- 1 Cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
- 3 (1 ounce) Squares Unsweetened Chocolate
- 2 Tablespoons Vanilla Extract
- Whipped Cream, for Serving (Optional)
Instructions
- Combine sugar, corn starch, and salt in a medium saucepan. Pour in milk. Stir in eggs. Whisk together.
- Add chocolate chips and unsweetened chocolate- stir constantly over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil.
- As soon as the mixture starts to boil and becomes thick, remove from heat. Stir in the vanilla.
- Pour the mixture into the pie shell and refrigerate for 4 hours before serving.
- Serve with whipped cream, if desired, and enjoy this pie any time of the year!
