1. Essential Oil
I love to use Peppermint for headaches! It works so well as an essential oil and putting it on my temples and forehead. I usually lay down for a few minutes and let the Peppermint work its magic! I also love to put Peppermint essential oil in my diffuser and let the aroma surround me when I am not feeling well from a headache. This is only one way to use this beloved herb!

2. Herbal Tea
I love to dry my herbs from my garden. Peppermint is an herb I just started growing this year, and it did wonderful in my herb garden. I was able to harvest SO MUCH! I had it drying everywhere. Once the herb dried out, I was able to use my pestle and mortar to crush it up and use it in my wonderful tea pitcher! It has an infuser, and I can use my loose-leaf herbs and teas in it.
Hot Peppermint tea is amazing. I don’t add anything else to it! It will help settle a nervous or upset stomach. It can help when my sinuses are all out of whack! It helps me with headaches, and overall, it is just plain soothing! If you have never had hot Peppermint tea, I recommend it! Go by your local herb store and pick up some Peppermint, and get started changing your life with a simple herb.

3. Lozenges
We have all had peppermints and lozenges before. These are nothing new or special! I havenβt gotten the courage to try and make my own, but I hope to do so someday. I use peppermint lozenges a lot since I teach online. I talk SOOOO much, and my throat starts to hurt. Lozenges work wonders on my throat and make it possible for me to keep going after long hours of talking and teaching.
Peppermint is one of my favorite herbs. It’s super versatile and can be used in many different forms & for many different medical purposes.

We love the smell of peppermint and have grown it outside because it’s said to naturally ward off wasps…I’m not sure that happened honestly, but it did smell delightful!
I agree! I’ve grown it outside for the same reason. I am not sure if it works but it smells good, so it doesn’t matter! Lol.
