Next up on the state checklists… South Carolina! I never realized there were so many beautiful beaches AND mountains to visit in South Carolina! It is truly the best of both worlds. It has never been a vacation or travel destination that has popped into my head when thinking about planning my next trip (now it will be!).
On the other hand, my husband and his family used to travel to South Carolina every. single. year. for family vacation.
Their favorite place to go in South Carolina is Myrtle Beach. I got to experience this lovely place after hearing about it for about four years! We visited on New Years of this year (2018 into 2019). It was a great experience, and I loved being at the beach for New Years. My favorite part was the fantastic food and the Carolina Opry! There are many, many wonderful places to visit in South Carolina besides Myrtle Beach (even though that one is at the top of our list).
From beaches to mountains, South Carolina has a wide variety of places to visit and things to do! This list is just the beginning of many exciting places in South Carolina. Check out this travel guide to help you further plan your trip to South Carolina!
