Hello! Welcome to week five of Tuesday Tea with Catherine! This week, I am trying a Sanderson Sisters Brew tea! The brew I am trying is called Sarah Loose Leaf Tea. We carry this awesome brew of teas at the cute little consignment shop I work at in my hometown. It is from the Spill The Tea Sis Apothecary, and I am so excited to try it!
This company has several different blends that I will be trying throughout the next few weeks.
The ingredients of this tea are Roobios, Chamomile, Carob, Cinnamon, Clove, Cardamon, Orange Peel, Calendula, & Sunflower. This is an interesting brew, and they come in the perfect packaging for a cup of tea!

Be sure to grab your tea supplies! Your favorite tea or coffee cup, tea infuser, and your favorite flavored honey stick! I love to use honey sticks because it is the PERFECT amount of honey to sweeten any cup of tea.

I have tried the Sarah loose leaf tea! And honestly, this is NOT my favorite tea of the ones I have tried so far. The flavor is unique, but the cinnamon and cloves have a strong flavor in this blend! Cinnamon is not one of my favorites. I can tolerate it in many teas, desserts, or even scents, but it has to be a very mild flavor or scent.
If Cinnamon is one of your favorites, I believe you will LOVE this tea! I am enjoying narrowing down my palette and the flavors and herbs that I like the most! I hope you will grab this tea and try it for yourself sometime.

This week, I have taken a break from the Charlaine Harris books series I have started. A few weeks ago, I ran across the book, Why We Sleep: Unlocking The Power of Sleep And Dreams. I HAD to snag it and read it! Sleep is something I enjoy very much, and without enough sleep, I am a zombie.
I can truly tell when my body has not gotten enough sleep because of the way it affects me.
Sleep is such a powerful thing, and it helps our bodies and minds in so many ways (that I didn’t even realize). Also, a lack of sleep can hurt us in many ways that I didn’t even know possible! It can contribute to different illnesses and mess with our minds. Within the first ten pages of this book, I learned many new things about sleep, why we need it, and why it is good for us.
I wanted to share this book with you today, in hopes that you will read it and get as much from it as I did! This book is broken down into four parts- This Thing Called Sleep, Why Should You Sleep?, How and Why We Dream, and From Sleeping Pills to Society Transformed. The author states that you do not have to read each part in order, that you can read them as you wish and at your own pace.
You will learn everything about sleep from what it is, why we sleep, why we dream, what sleeping disorders are, and so much more about sleep. You will learn what it does for our minds and bodies from this book. It has been a very interesting read, and I hope to make getting enough sleep more serious in the future!
Make sure to take good care of your body and mind by getting enough rest every night, AND making it a priority!
