βStrange how a teapot can represent at the same time the comforts of solitude and the pleasures of company.β

Good morning! I am so excited to start Tuesday Tea this week. Each week, I’m going to share highlights from my week: favorite quotes, interesting articles, a new book I’m reading, or anything that made my week fun! I will also be sharing a new tea I’m trying. I’ll try a new type of tea each week and give you a quick review and my honest opinion!
Today, I’m kicking off week one of Tuesday Tea with my absolute favorite (so it isn’t new to me, but soooo worth sharing!) White Peony herbal blend tea. It is a wonderful mixture that has a gentle, lightly sweet flavor. All I add is a bit of honey, and I can sip on this tea for hours! It’s the perfect blend to curl up with a book and enjoy my morning before getting started on chores or whatever else the day had to throw at me!

I usually buy an herbal blend from my local herb shop. I have also used tea bags, and they taste just as great. I enjoy supporting local small businesses, so I generally buy most of the herbs I do not grow from them. Give this tea a try this week! Sit down with your favorite book and enjoy some ‘me’ time that I am sure is much needed!
This week I am finishing up a book I started a while back (oops!). I haven’t spent as much time as I like reading in the last few weeks. Sometimes life gets hectic and that happens.
The book I am reading is Parisian Charm School: French Secrets for Cultivating Love, Joy, and That Certain je ne sais quoi. It has been such a fun book to read! I have enjoyed the author’s (Jamie Cat Callan) stories of being in France and things she has learned along her French journey of a French woman’s charm. She gives ‘Charm School” advice, tips, and recommendations at the end of each chapter. This book has made me fall even more in love with the French culture and wanting the charm of a French woman.
I long for the days I will visit France again, and this book has transported me back to a place I love dearly! If you are wanting a fun and flirty book, pick this one up next!
I would love to hear what you book you are reading and what tea you are drinking this week.

Catherine
I am drinking Simpson & vail Formosa oolong tea, and it is absolute heaven! I am currently reading Living With Pattern by Rebecca Atwood, and taking tons of notes on how to mix colors, textures and prints in the home. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is looking to bring some personal flair into their space!
Thank you for sharing your current read, and your tea of choice! I will be adding this tea to my list of ones to try π Thank you for joining me for tea today.
I have recently found the joys of tea. My dear friend, from Australia, loves a good cuppa! My favorite right now is Vanilla Chai! And I love that quote about the comforts of solitude and the pleasure of company.
That quote is one of my favorites π I have Vanilla Chai in the cabinet! I will be trying it in the next few weeks.
I love trying new teas! I recently tried a tea drop…It dissolves the tea into your hot water…It was so interesting!
How neat! I will have to try this soon… thanks for sharing!
My personal favorite is Pakistan’s authentic Chai Tea made with cream. As far as books, being an author myself, I really do like my “I Just Want To Be Happy Again” latest edition. Would love to share it with you to get your feedback/review. Thanks for sharing your experiences!
I would love to read your book! I would be glad to review and share it on one of my weekly blogs. You can shoot me an email π
I love a good herbal tea at night while relaxing with the kids before bedtime.
I’ll have to try that tea! Sounds perfect for book time!
It is! π
Great idea! I tend to prefer coffee myself, but I think my favorite tea would have to be a local favorite where I grew up, Saskatoon berry tea! I also have not had as much time over the past month for my reading, but now that school is back in this week I am hoping to make more time to find a good book to curl up with!
I enjoy coffee as well! I have my cup first thing in the morning to get me going. I hope you get to enjoy a good book soon!
My daughter and I went for high tea just this weekend! She really enjoyed the adult tea party! LOL. I had a Cranberry Chai, which was really nice!
I would love that! Lol Cranberry Chai sounds wonderful. I will add this to my list to try!
So many benefits! I keep several teas on hand and love a cup almost anytime of day, especially herbal teas!
There are definitely many benefits to drinking tea. Herbal tea is my favorite!
My favorite is RoiBoss. Iβve been drinking it for years! Also love Berry mix from Tevanna. What a flavor!
I am looking for new teas to try, so I will be adding these to my list!
Cute idea, tea and a good book. Can we add a few hours to the day!
Thank you!
That tea looks amazing! I’ll have to try it.
I’ll look forward to your posts! I’m a daily hot tea drinker.
Today I’m sipping on peppermint tea and reading Women Who Run With the Wolves.
Sounds like an interesting book! I’ll have to check it out π
