Hello! Welcome to Tuesday Tea with Catherine π I am so glad you have decided to join me this week.
We have been having some very cold weather here in north Georgia. We had some snow this weekend and are predicted to have some more next week! We haven’t seen snow in several years, so this is exciting! Cold weather also calls for warm beverages, which you know I LOVE!
This week, I am sharing mulled wine! This is the first time I have ever tried it. How many of you love mulled wine? I would love your recipes and your favorite wine to make it with.
I am using Concord wine from the Georgia Winery (my favorite winery!). It is a very sweet wine, and to me, it tastes like grape juice!

To make mulled wine, you only need a few tools and ingredients!
- Saucepan
- Ladle
- Mulling Spices– I got mine from the Georgia Winery, but you could always make your own. It calls for very basic spices! Check out this recipe.
- Wine of your choice
- Brown Sugar
- Water

I honestly wasn’t sure what to think about drinking a warm wine, but it was very delicious! I can’t believe it took me this long to try it. The grape flavor of the wine mixed with the mulling spices gave it the best flavor. It was perfect for a cold snow day here in Georgia!

I have gotten on a James Patterson kick lately, and I can’t read his books fast enough! The book I am currently reading this week is The House Next Door. I love that James Patterson keeps you wanting more at the end of each page! If you love a good mystery thriller book, then you need to check this one out!

The next James Patterson book that I am excited to read is, The Paris Detective. It is one of his latest novels, and I can’t wait to get to it soon!
What are some of your favorite mystery thriller novels? I would love to check them out!
