Hello, hello! Welcome to Tuesday Tea with Catherine, Week Three! I am excited to share two different teas that I have tried this week.
From the fruit tea sampler in the picture above, I tried the Country Peach Passion and the Wild Berry Zinger tea. Interestingly, the teas from this box all have many of the same ingredients, yet the ones I have tried so far all taste completely different!
The ingredients of the Peach tea are: Orange Peel, Rosehips, Hawthorn, Chamomile, Blackberry Leaves, Hibiscus, and Peaches. This list of ingredients is very interesting to me! It was a very mild peach flavor but was very easy and soothing to drink. I sweetened mine with a bit of honey, and it was perfect!
The ingredients for the Wild Berry Zinger tea are: Hibiscus, Rosehips, Roasted Chicory, Orange Peel, Blackberry Leaves, Strawberries, Blueberries, Red Raspberries, Cranberries, and other Cherries. I’ll be honest, I have never been a huge fan of Wild Berry flavored drinks or candies. I didn’t have very high hopes of liking this tea when trying it, but I did it anyway, and I’m glad!
Out of these two, the Wild Berry flavor is my FAVORITE! It was amazing. The flavor was very subtle but oh so good. It wasn’t strong like a fruit drink or a candy with this flavor (not sure why I thought it would be??). It was honestly perfect, and I was sad when my cup of tea was gone!
I hope you give these two teas a try, especially if you like Wild Berry flavored things. It might be the perfect tea for you!
This week, I have spent time starting a new series of books. I have read the first three books of the Sookie Stackhouse (the name of the main character) series by Charlaine Harris, but I wanted to start the series over. It has been a long time since I read these three books, and I’ve recently acquired the whole series of thirteen books. I am hoping to have time to read the entire series over the next few weeks!
These books are awesome! The True Blood TV series is based on these books. If you’re a fan, you will love them! To me, the books are always much better than the movies or TV series, simply because the author can pack so much more description and emotion into the pages than they can on a TV screen (in my opinion). So if you’re a reader, and a fan of True Blood, don’t waste another minute and grab these books!
The first book of the series is called Dead Until Dark. It was published in 2001, and the story takes place in a small town in Louisiana. The main character of the story is Sookie Stackhouse, who has a disability, as she calls it. The story is told from her perspective. If you love stories based on mystical characters and the supernatural world, then grab this book and a cup of tea, and enjoy an afternoon reading this novel. You won’t be disappointed.
You can now Buy me a tea <3 to help support the Tuesday Tea series! It will help to buy tea & books to review. Thank you for your support!
I hope you enjoyed the tea and book recommendation for today. It’s been a fun week filled with new teas, new books, and very sunny days. I hope you have a wonderful week. I would also love to hear your opinion on these teas if you try them, and also the books!
Until next time,
