I want to start by saying that I was very skeptical of purchasing the Shark ION Robot. I contemplated for a while on whether or not I should make this huge purchase! I read reviews and received recommendations from family and friends, so what was holding me back? The fact that it was such a huge purchase! I never buy anything this expensive without doing extensive research and reading reviews.
But, after deciding to purchase this product, I have come to find out that this product is AMAZING! I bought one about two months ago, and I have been amazed at how good of a product it is. There are so many features that make the product useful, helpful, and one that I would recommend to anyone! It has helped simplify my daily life. Now I want to share my review with you guys so that hopefully it will help you with if you are in the decision making process!
It has definitely simplified my life.
And simplicity is what we all want more of, right?
Imagine those days you come home from work, exhausted, but there is so much to get done. Dinner, laundry, cleaning, and not to mention getting yourself and your kids ready for bed and the next day! SO.MUCH. TO.DO.
I get it. And that’s why this product has been so incredible for me. I can let it run while I am doing all those other things during my evening! Or- I can schedule when I want it to run for when there aren’t as many people running around the house. This product will help simplify your life because it takes one task off of your to-do list!

Reason 1- The Scheduling Feature
Some mornings I have it scheduled to start cleaning before I even get out of the bed!
The Shark ION Robot comes with a nifty little remote that allows you to schedule the days of the week and the time that you want it to start cleaning. This allows the device to clean your home when it is most convenient for you.
I was skeptical about having this little robot thing roaming around my home when I wasn’t there, but the scheduling feature has become one of my favorites! I can schedule it to run when I want it to and not even have to worry about turning it on myself! It is so convenient, and it allows me to clean my own even when I am not there.
Reason 2- Easy Maintenance
This is my favorite thing about this product!
The Shark ION Robot is so easy to take care of! In the instruction booklet, they recommend you clean the filter once a week. I usually take a few minutes on Saturday to clean my filter; it is quick and easy, considering it is so small. Also, you need to clean the tray and then clean out any hair that may get tangled in the bristles. Other than that, you are good to go!
The maintenance is so easy, I love it!
Reason 3- You Can Let It Do It’s Own Thing
This is the reason that will most simplify your life! Once you turn on the Shark, you can let it do its own thing without having to worry about it. It comes with BotBoundary strips that you can place in front of objects you don’t want it to run into, or in front of doors you don’t want it to go into.
I love these strips because I don’t have to worry when I let the Shark run when I am not home. Also, when I am home, I do not have to watch it’s every move. I can let it do its own thing while I go about my business.
When the Shark ION Robot is getting low on battery after a couple of hours, it will return itself to its docking/recharging station! Meaning that all I have done is turn the marvelous thing on and let it clean my house while I tend to other chores or spend time with my husband!
