Good morning! I am very excited about sharing an amazing author with you today. I ran across a few of Charlaine Harris’ books at a yard sale a few years ago (in my teens, we won’t say how long ago). I only picked up the first three books, but once I read them, I was hooked! I had forgotten about these books until I was going through and tidying up my bookshelves a few weeks ago. I got so excited and wanted to share them with you guys!
I have a lot of books, and sometimes I can forget about a golden gem when I have one! I recently bought the rest of the series, and I will be starting them over to read the whole series. Check out Tuesday Tea with Catherine for an updates in the next few weeks! I will talk about different things I liked about the books, and you can share your thoughts with me too.
Below I am going to share the whole series in order. The series is called the Sookie Stackhouse series. It’s about a girl (Sookie Stackhouse) with a ‘disability’ and it is a vampire mystery series. There are thirteen wonderful (I can only judge based on the first three, but they were awesome) books. Each book tells it’s own story, but each book does connect with the others. I recommend reading them all in the order they came out.
Also, do I have any True Blood fans!?! This TV series is based on this book series by Charlaine Harris, so if you’re a fan, you might like these books too!
Book 1- Dead Until Dark
Book 2- Living Dead in Dallas
Book 3- Club Dead
Book 4- Dead to The World
Book 5- Dead as a Doornail
Book 6- Definitely Dead
Book 7- All Together Dead
Book 8- From Dead to Worse
Book 9- Dead and Gone
Book 10- Dead in the Family
Book 11- Dead Reckoning
Book 12- Deadlocked
Book 13- Dead Ever After
There are also some short stories the author has written that go along with this series. I have not personally read them yet, but I plan to sometime in the future! I will update this post when I do 🙂
Now, I am off to read some more and try not to get sucked into watching True Blood (Lol)! If you try these books, I would love to know if you enjoy them as much as I do!
Until next time,
Catherine

She has also written the Aurora Teagarden mysteries which is a series of movies on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries – my daughter and I love it! The first book in that series is Real Murders.
