Do you have a small bathroom, little counter space, or just want a well-organized bathroom? Are you looking for the best bathroom organization ideas?
Organizing can be overwhelming sometimes, but it doesn’t have to be. Giving everything a place from the linen closet and medicine cabinet to the bathroom drawers and under the sink, you will have an organized space in no time.
What Should I Do Before Organizing My Bathroom Space?
Before organizing your space, you should clean out and get rid of things you no longer need. It’s easier to organize when you have less stuff to work with.
Go through your medicine cabinet and check expiration dates. Any medications that are expired- get rid of them!
Go through your make-up and other beauty supplies. Get rid of anything that is old or that you no longer use.
Go through your linen closet and get rid of old towels and washcloths. You can turn these into cleaning rags!
Go through any other cabinets, drawers, or a bathroom closet that you have in your bathroom. Get rid of anything you don’t want or need.
Now that you have cleaned out, it’s time to start organizing!

15 Organizational Tools For Your Bathroom
1. Five Compartment Organizer
A clear, five-compartment organizer is a great way to keep your bathroom cabinet organized. Since it is clear, you can see what is in it easily. I use it to put ointments and other small items in.
It’s also perfect for makeup brushes, nail polish, or skincare products. Doing this will help them from getting lost. It also keeps them looking tidy which, I love!
2. Reusable Face Wipes and Cotton Swabs Container
I have to keep reusable face wipes and cotton swabs in containers. I would hate for them to get dirty from sitting out in the open, plus I think it looks nicer with them in different containers rather than in the packing they come in.
Small containers like these are perfect for storing them in the cabinet. They would also look good sitting on your countertops if you have enough space!
3. Basket with Dividers
A basket like this one with three different compartments is perfect to use underneath your sink. It can fit many different things- I use mine for hair products, beauty products, razors, and more.
They each get a section, and it organizes them perfectly!
4. Corner Shelf
A corner shelf like this fits right into the corner. I use the tall one under my sink. It gives you so much more room because you can stack items on the shelves. Say goodbye to a cluttered mess under your bathroom sink!
The wall corner shelves are perfect for a bathroom that doesn’t have a lot of room or much space for storing items.

5. Drawer Organizers
A drawer organizer or drawer dividers are a game changer! How many times have you been fumbling around in your bathroom drawer trying to find that perfect shade of lipstick or that clip to pull your hair back with?
This organizer will make sure that the smaller items in your bathroom are organized.
6. Toothbrush Holder
Having a toothbrush holder is a necessity. It keeps your toothbrush off the counter and hopefully keeps it cleaner.
This toothbrush holder has plenty of room for your toothbrush, toothpaste, and razors. It will drain any water that may be left on your toothbrush or razor.
7. Toothpaste Dispenser
It’s the little things like this that make me happy. A toothpaste dispenser is something that I never knew I needed for my bathroom. It keeps the mess of the toothpaste contained. This is great for children!
8. Hair Tools Organizer
A hair tool organizer is perfect for a tiny bathroom, or to create more bathroom storage because it will help clear out a drawer (or the counter). It gives you easy access to your hair dryers, curling iron, straightener, or other tools.
If your hair tools are constantly in the way or tangled, this tool is a must-have! You can hang it on the wall or inside your cabinet door. It will help to keep your tools organized and mess-free.
9. Toilet Paper Holder
One thing I DO NOT want to happen when having guests over is them not being able to find the stash of extra toilet paper.
That’s why I like to have a nice toilet paper holder in the bathroom. It looks nice and has extra toilet paper for whoever may need it. It is also the best way to clear out any space under your cabinet from storing toilet paper there.

10. Wastebasket
A wastebasket is something that every bathroom should have! Where do you put used cotton balls or cotton swabs? Not having a wastebasket leaves room for being messy and leaving your trash lying around the bathroom counter.
Plus, guests can feel weird if they have to lug their trash out of the bathroom to throw it away elsewhere. A small trashcan with a lid like this one is perfect for the bathroom. I love the pedal to open the lid!
11. Laundry Basket
A laundry basket could honestly be an organizational tool for the bedroom or bathroom, but we keep our laundry basket in the bathroom. That is where we usually get dressed or change our clothes in the evenings, so it makes sense.
The one thing I want to point out is that I love a laundry basket with a lid! It helps to hide your dirty clothes, and it keeps guests from seeing your dirty laundry when they use your bathroom. Win-win for you!
12. Shower Caddy
A shower caddy is a must! I can’t imagine having my stuff strewn all over the shower. We use two different ones for our downstairs and upstairs bathroom. We use an over-the-shower head caddy and one that suctions to the shower wall.
I prefer the type that goes over the showerhead. Use whichever type works best for your situation, but please use one to help you stay organized!
13. Shower Shelves
Shower shelves are a great way to organize your shower and put things where you can reach them.
Shower shelves will allow you to have more space and put more products in the shower that you enjoy using.
14. Shower Corner Caddy
A shower corner caddy is an awesome organizational tool for the shower. It’s tall and has plenty of shelves and spaces to hang razors and washcloths.
It’s the perfect solution to having more space in the shower.

15. Towel Bar
Having a towel bar is important to have somewhere to hang your towel to let it dry once you get out of the shower. Having a small towel rack can go a long way in allowing you to tidy up your bathroom and get it organized.
16. Over the Toilet Storage Cabinet
This kind of cabinet/shelving unit is perfect for bathrooms with small spaces and little storage space. It’s perfect for storing extra towels, hand towels, and other bathroom items.
It fits right over the toilet in a space that is probably not used anyway!
17. Wall Mount Organizer
These are the perfect clear containers to help you clear clutter and create more space on your countertops.
They mount easily on the wall and are the perfect size for small toiletry items or skin care products, but they are still small enough to not take up too much space on the wall.
