One of my favorite ways to practice self-care is by curling up in a chair, with a nice cup of tea, grabbing my latest James Patterson novel, and going to town! Reading takes me to another world and helps me de-stress from all the chaos in life, or after a long day at work. From love stories to epic thrillers- James Patterson writes them all. The best part? He is a fantastic author, no matter the genre. He makes it easy to get lost in whatever the story is about, and I love that.

His books are captivating and never fail to keep me engrossed in the story. Sometimes, if I have enough time on my hands, I can read a whole book in one sitting! Now, I love to read, but very rarely have I stumbled upon an author that can keep me sitting still long enough to read an entire book in one day.
I wanted to share with you a list of some of my most favorite books by James Patterson. They would definitely be the ones I could not live without! I hope you read them and love them as much as I do!
1. First Love
I will start with this novel because it is one that I recently finished and absolutely loved. James Patterson does a marvelous job with this amazing love story. He definitely knows how to pull at your heartstrings, and that is exactly what will happen with this one! Be ready for heartstrings to be pulled, emotions to run wild, and to be left speechless after the last page is turned… you won’t want to put it down.
2 & 3. Honeymoon & Second Honeymoon
Okay, guys, I was speechless when my husband bought me Second Honeymoon for my birthday last year! I was so excited because the first book, Honeymoon, was so engaging. The plot is gripping and pulls you right in. I couldn’t keep my nose out of it. The second book did not disappoint either. The only disappointing thing was that they had to end!
4. Now You See Her
This was one of the very first novels I read by James Patterson. The page-turning suspense is what hooked me, and made me a tremendous fan of his work. I remember not being able to put the book down. I told myself I had to keep going to find out what was going to happen next. I have never been so captivated by a story in my life! Years later, I have read this story several times, and I’m a fan for life!

5. Suzanne’s Diary for Nicholas
This love story has just as much suspense and is most definitely a page-turner like James Patterson’s mysteries and thrillers. It is emotional, full of hope, heartbreak, and is completely unforgettable. This story will have you on the edge of your seat! It is a must read (again & again) on my James Patterson list.
6. The Beach House
From the James Patterson website, it says, “The Beach House reveals the secret lives of celebrities in a breathtaking drama of revenge-with a finale so shocking that only James Patterson could have written it.” I couldn’t agree more. The Beach House is so thrilling, and you will be excited to turn the page again and again. It is one of those books that I go back to when I need to get my blood pumping and my heart racing for what is going to happen next.

These are some of my most favorite books by James Patterson. I have read many by him, and although they are all great stories, these are the ones I always turn back to when I need a book to get lost in.
