Whether you are wanting a non-toxic recipe or wanting to start saving money by making your cleaning products, this recipe is a great start! This recipe is super easy to make (with only 3 ingredients), works great, and lasts a few weeks! I am only doing laundry for two people, so it lasts longer for me, but you could always double the recipe to make more at one time! That way, it will last you a lot longer!
This is one of my favorite recipes! If you’re looking for more recipes like this, check out my Home Cleaning & Organization Binder! It’s packed full of great recipes, tips, and tricks!
I like my products like I like my people. Non-toxic.

The first thing I always do is shred the bar of soap. I use the side of the grater that will make the smallest pieces of soap. Doing it this way means I don’t have huge chunks of soap going into the washing machine. Using the grater wears my hand out, but I honestly need the workout (Ha!). Anyways, once the soap is shredded, add the other ingredients into the mixing bowl!
Once all the ingredients are in the mixing bowl, make sure to mix them up well! It’s super easy and simple. Once the ingredients are mixed together well, add them to the glass jar. I love to label my items so that I never get confused about what is in each jar (I have several of them). It also adds a little touch and makes it look cute in my laundry room!
Well there you have it! Laundry detergent in just a few simple steps!
This recipe is very cost-effective, and what I love most is that I know exactly what is going on my skin after I wash my clothes! I don’t have to worry about my clothes being washed in harsh chemicals and toxins.
